NOAH COTTERMAN

Title: Boys Varsity Head Coach

Alma Mater: Lakeland University

Coach Noah started playing volleyball in 3rd grade at the local YMCA. Shortly after joining a team he found a love for the game that took him through high school and college. He was a 4 year member of the Lakeland University Men's Volleyball Program, a Division 3 school located in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

 

After graduation with a bachelor's in Sports Management and Leadership, Coach Noah returned to Arizona and became the Graduate Assistant Coach at Park University - Gilbert, coaching both the Men's and the Women's teams. After a successful start at Park University, Coach Noah moved over to Benedictine University - Mesa in an assistant coach role. In his first two years (2022 & 2023), the program made it to the national championship and came out the national runners-up. Coach Noah has a 90-41 win loss record in college.

On top of coaching in college, Coach Noah has been a successful club volleyball coach in the Arizona Region since his return home in 2019. Over the year Coach Noah has coached many  successful teams. Some of his teams accolades include:

  • Numerous AZ Region Top 3 Finishes

  • AZ Region Champions

  • USA Division Bid

  • Top 3 in multiple SoCal Cup Showcase's

  • Top 10 ranked team in the county

This will the 3rd year that Coach Noah will be at the Helm of the program. In his first two years, the program has made 2 playoff appearances. In his first year, the team won the Higley Invitational while not dropping an entire set. Since coming to Higley, Coach Noah and his team are yet to have a losing year. While at Higley, he has coached multiple players that find themselves in the Higley record books. Since arriving at Higley, Coach Noah has led the program to a 37-31 Varsity Record.
